7-Day Halloween Week Western Caribbean, featuring Cozumel

An Idyllic Western Caribbean Itinerary

The laid-back Western Caribbean is home to many of the region’s most popular islands; known the world over for some of the most stunning white sand beaches, sparkling and historic ports of call, and the culture of some of the friendliest host peoples imaginable.  From the gorgeous sun-splashed islands of Cozumel and Roatan to the jungles, rivers and wildlife of Belize, this itinerary gives you the best of it all... and 3 full days at sea for you to refresh, recharge and renew.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida

One of the most gay-friendly cities in Florida and a perfect destination for any visitor, Fort Lauderdale is home to beautiful sandy beaches and an exciting gay scene. Known as 'America's Venice' due to its extensive canal system it draws boaters as well as beach-goers, attracting more than 10 million visitors annually. Fort Lauderdale boasts world-class theaters, museums, sightseeing, and shopping. The hub of the city’s gay community is Wilton Manors, the residential neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale that is iconic for its high concentration of gay bars, restaurants and clubs.

Cozumel, Mexico

Cozumel is Mexico's largest Caribbean island, situated about 40 miles south of Cancun. There is only one main town on the island - San Miguel de Cozumel. Less than five percent of the island is developed; and most of the undeveloped land is rugged jungle with quiet, deserted beaches. Besides quiet relaxation, a few small Mayan ruins and some general water sports, diving and snorkeling are the main attractions here. Also a highlight is the Chankanaab National Park. At the center of this park there is a land-locked pool (cenote) connected by an underground tunnel to the sea. You can snorkel in the sea and the beach at the park is wonderful - one of the best on the island; it’s perfect for sunbathing. The San Gervasio ruins, which date back to 100 BC, can be found on Cozumel.

Belize City, Belize

From its history as a pirate town and logging port, Belize City maintains much of its past architecture and narrow streets.  Take a stroll around town and check out the cultural and historical centers, as well as the colonial architecture. There’s also eclectic shopping and dining. Plus, just outside of town, there are mysterious archaeological tours and jungle river adventures in the rainforest.  Downtown and near the cruise pier, you'll find vendors selling locally made goods as well as restaurants, bars, the Museum of Belize and numerous historical sites. Quick connections - either by short flight or water taxi—to offshore islands make for great day tours of snorkeling, diving and relaxing. The Belize Barrier Reef sits just miles off the coast of Belize and is part of the larger Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, second in size only to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Home to hundreds of species of coral and fish, it is a hot spot for divers, snorkelers and biologists from all over the world.

Roatan, Honduras

Both the Spanish and the English fought for the colonization and control of Roatan with neither party ever settling on Roatan permanently, yet both the English and the Spanish strongly influenced the culture, language, and heritage we see on Roatan today. Roatan is arguably the most diverse community in Honduras. The heritage of those living on Roatan ranges from expats from Italy, Europe, Canada, and the United States. There are also the Mestizo Indians native to the island and the mainland. The visitor to Roatan can soar as high as a bird through the jungle canopy on a seemingly hundreds-of-feet-high zipline after breakfast, by lunchtime be getting your amateur zoologist on snuggling monkeys and sloths at an animal refuge, and be swimming with tropical fish and sea turtles among the coral right before dinner.

Introducing the all-new SUN PRINCESS

Meet the first Sphere Class Ship; Sun Princess

Heralding a brand new day for the cruise industry, Sun Princess is the first ship in the Princess fleet to be powered by Liquified Natural Gas (LNG). This cleaner burning fuel will significantly reduce air emissions and marine gas oil to minimize our environmental footprint.

Perhaps the most striking feature of Sun Princess, The Dome is a multi-level covered deck and first-of-its-kind glass-enclosed dome ever constructed on a cruise ship. During the day, the Dome features an indoor/outdoor pool and unique water feature in a comfortable and relaxed space. At night, the pool becomes a stage, and the Dome completely transforms into an entertainment venue with a South Beach vibe, state-of-the-art lighting effects and stunning entertainment.
