Your Host

Mark 'Chumley' Singer has been an activist, a performer and an event producer for more than 25 years. Creating and co-hosting (alongside the stunning Carlota Ttendant!) Philly's once wildly popular GayBINGO!, Chumley helped to raise more than $1,000,000 for the fight against HIV/AIDS. Philadelphia's wackiest duo teamed again for Chumley & Carlota's Movie Nights, a monthly series of 'Mystery Science Theater-inspired campy fun.

In his role as Creative Director for Philadelphia's Fourth of July events, Chumley created the Philadelphia Skyline Project, a program that illuminates the city buildings in a dazzling display of color each holiday season. Chumley also served as Creative Director for many civic events including the Millennium Philadelphia celebration, the openings of the Liberty Bell Pavilion and National Constitution Center, and the Salvador Dali Experience at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Chumley is a founding and current board member of the Philadelphia Gay Tourism Caucus, and is the Events & Marketing Manager for the children's non-profit of the Philadelphia Eagles NFL franchise.

Chumley's BearCruises initially sailed in 2003 and continue to grow each year, bringing the friendliest men together from all over the world for a vacation full of laughter, relaxation and wet fur!
